Three Capes Gallery is pleased to present Here I Am, an exhibition of ceramic sculpture and large-scale paintings by artists with lived experience of mental illness.

Featuring a group of artists including Amanda Hobba, Meaghan Waters, Jess Baxter, Star, Corina McKenzie, Alice Reynolds, Amy Walsh, and Belinda, the exhibition reflects on identity, visibility, and personal expression.

The exhibition showcases a range of processes and materials, brought together in a shared project that balances individual perspectives with collective making. The focus throughout has been on providing space for creativity, connection, and experimentation.

The exhibition has been supported by Wellways and South West Healthcare, and draws on contributions from a wide range of local makers, including ceramicists, steel fabricators, studio technicians, healthcare workers, and artists.
